Titular diocese of Aezani

Aezani is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to an earlier diocese in the ancient city of Aizanoi in the Phrygia region of Asia Minor (late ancient Roman province Phrygia Pacatiana ) in what is now western Turkey , which belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Hierapolis .
