Titular diocese of Capharnaum

Capharnaum ( Italian : Cafarnao ) was a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church until 1947 .

It went back to a lost bishopric in the historic city of Capernaum , on the shores of the Sea of ​​Galilee , in Palestine , today Israel .
