Titular diocese of Capreae

Capreae ( Italian Capri ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to a bishopric in the city of Capri , which is located in the Italian region of Campania . The diocese of Capreae was founded in 987 and dissolved in 1818. It was subordinate to the Archdiocese of Amalfi as a suffragan .
