Titular diocese of Tanais
Tanais , also Tana , is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a bishopric in the city of Tanais, now Azov , which in the region Taurien on the peninsula Crimea is located.
Among the auxiliary bishops of the Middle Ages was Bishop Johannes , who worked in the diocese of Cammin in 1380.
