St. George Cathedral in Saskatoon

The Saskatoon eparchy was founded on March 10, 1951 by Pope Pius XII. established with the Apostolic Constitution De Ruthenorum from cessions of territory of the Apostolic Exarchate Central Canada as Apostolic Exarchate Saskatoon . On November 3, 1956, the Apostolic Exarchate Saskatoon was by Pius XII. with the Apostolic Constitution Hanc Apostolicam raised to the eparchy and subordinated to the Archeparch Winnipeg as a suffragan diocese.
