Titular diocese of Umbriatico

Umbriatico is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to a bishopric that existed until 1818 in the city of Umbriatico , which lies in the southern Italian region of Calabria . On June 27, 1818 , the Diocese of Umbriatico was abolished by the Bull De utiliori of Pius VII and its territory was annexed to the Archdiocese of Cariati . From that date the Archdiocese of Umbriatico became a titular diocese.
