Tobias Joch

Tobias Joch (* 1991 in Nordhausen ) is a German actor and musical performer .

Life

Joch grew up in Nordhausen and gained his first stage experience at Theater Nordhausen , where he participated in various plays between 2006 and 2010, including A Midsummer Night's Dream , The Threepenny Opera and a stage version of The Breakfast Club ( detention ).

After graduating from high school , he completed his training in acting, singing and dance from 2011 to 2014 as a full scholarship holder at the Joop van den Ende Academy in Hamburg . During his studies he was a. a. starred as George in Christopher Durang's The Actor 's Nightmare and as Rocky in The Rocky Horror Show .  

He played Raoul Vicomte de Chagny in Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera , Johann Friedel and Benedikt Schack in Stephen Schwartz 's Schikaneder , directed by Trevor Nunn and Link Larkin in Hairspray .

Since 2018 he can be seen as Bert in the musical Mary Poppins in the Theater an der Elbe in Hamburg .
