Tobias Lehmkuhl

Tobias Lehmkuhl (born 1976 in Georgsmarienhütte ) is a German literary critic and author.

Life

Lehmkuhl grew up in Bissendorf and attended the Ratsgymnasium in Osnabrück . Until 2002 he studied comparative literature and romance languages in Bonn , Barcelona and Berlin . Since then he has been working as a freelance journalist and writes reports, essays and reviews for Die Zeit and Süddeutsche Zeitung and features for Deutschlandradio Kultur . In 2017 Lehmkuhl received the Berlin Prize for Literary Criticism .

Lehmkuhl lives in Berlin.
