Toktu
Khan Toktu ( Bulgarian Токту ) was ruler of Bulgaria from 766 to 767.
According to the Byzantine historian Nikephoros , Toktu, like his predecessors, was a supporter of a policy of reconciliation with the Byzantine Empire and a member of the Bulgarian nobility. But like his predecessors, Sabin and Telez , he was driven out by a rebellion. While fleeing from his opponents, he was murdered with his supporters near the Danube .
