Tomáš Belic (born July 2, 1978 in Trenčín ) is a Slovak football player .
Club career
Belic began playing football at TTS Trenčín , then the goalkeeper played for ZŤS Dubnica nad Vahom , MŠK Žilina , Ozeta Dukla Trenčín , VTJ Štúrovo and MFK Nové Zámky.
From 2000 to 2002 Belic was under contract with Spartak Trnava , then he moved to the Czech Republic for 1. FC Brno . In the summer of 2005 he went on loan to the 2nd division to Dynamo České Budějovice , in spring 2006 the goalkeeper played for FC Vítkovice . After half a year at FK AS Trenčín , Belic moved to FK Teplice in early 2007 .
In Teplice Belic was initially number two behind regular goalkeeper Martin Slavík , when he was injured on April 18, 2007, the Slovak was in goal until the end of the season. In the 2007/08 season he was on the bench in all league games. He started the 2008/09 season as the new number one and showed consistently good performances. On January 1, 2009, Belic, whose contract in Teplice had expired, moved to Panionios Athens on a free transfer . Belic signed a two and a half year contract with the two-time Greek cup winners. While he was initially number one there, he only played one role in the 2010/11 season as Jürgen Macho's deputy .
In the summer of 2011, Belic left Greece and returned to his home country. There he joined first division club FK Dukla Banská Bystrica . After two years he moved to DAC Dunajská Streda before TJ Spartak Myjava signed him in early 2014 . There he only made five missions behind Peter Solnicka . At the beginning of 2015 he left the club and joined the AFC Nove Mesto nad Vahom in the second Slovak division .
