Tom Briscoe (born March 19, 1990 in Featherstone ) is an English rugby league player who currently plays for the Leeds Rhinos in the Super League .

Career

Briscoe began his career with the amateur club Featherstone Lions, from where he signed a contract with Hull FC. In 2008 he made his debut for Hull in a game against the Warrington Wolves .

Due to his strong performance early in the season, Briscoe signed a contract with Hull in 2009 that ran until 2013. In 2010 he had his first international match with England against the New Zealand Māori. In 2011 he took part with England in the Four Nations and the first International Origin game, and was elected to the Super League Dream Team .

On October 2, 2013, he signed a contract with the Leeds Rhinos, where his younger brother Luke Briscoe also plays. His debut was on February 16, 2014 in a game against the Hull Kingston Rovers , Leeds won 34-6 and in which he scored a hat trick. In the next 10 games he put 8 attempts.

In 2015, Leeds won the Challenge Cup 50-0 against the Hull Kingston Rovers . Briscoe put five attempts in the game, which no one before him had managed in a Challenge Cup final. As Man of the Match , he won the Lance Todd Trophy .
