Tom Burke
Tom Liam Benedict Burke (born June 30, 1981 in Kent , England ) is a British actor.
Life
Tom Burke is the son of actors David Burke and Anna Calder-Marshall. The well-known actor Alan Rickman was his godfather.
He performed at the Young Arden Theater in Faversham before attending the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London .
As an actor, he had numerous television roles and played among others the son of Giacomo Casanova in the miniseries of the same name from 2005. He also played in other BBC productions , including the role of Syd in the crime series Murder on Page One . In 2008 he won an Ian Charleson Award for his performance in the Creditors play . In 2012 he starred in the thriller Cleanskin alongside Sean Bean , Charlotte Rampling , James Fox and Michelle Ryan . From 2014 to 2016 he appeared as Athos in the BBC series The Musketeers .
