action
Karo and Klaro are bright twins. Since the death of her mother, father Klaus Klicker has tried to be there for them as much as possible. To pay off the rental debt, he works hard in his own bike shop. Meanwhile his sister Dagmar, the director of the zoo, takes care of Karo and Klaro. There the twins meet Thomas for the first time and are immediately enthusiastic about him. He has a secret, underground writing hiding place in the Tiergarten and wants to write a new book there. Karo and Klaro are immediately on fire and want to help Thomas with their creativity. Karo loves to draw sketches and comics, while Klaro takes on the technical inventor part. Together they create the idea of a super bike. It's supposed to be a bike that can talk and solve detective cases. The two of them get to work immediately. But their joy is clouded by Emma Fingergold, a former school colleague of Klaus. It seems that there is a spark between Emma and Klaus, which Karo and Klaro don't like at all.
When Klaro accidentally discovers a flea market, curiosity makes the twins hard to stop. At a booth they discover a glowing ball. Due to his inventive talent, Klaro is immediately taken with it and the Klicker family buys the ball. But as it quickly turns out, this sphere is not just any sphere. She is the mysterious "Tom Tempo" and that's when the "turbulent" adventure really begins.
Because the crooks Rudi Ratte and Fritz Fantom, attacked by Aunt Freda Fantom, are simultaneously on the hunt for "Tom Tempo". The crooks can only bring the ultimate robber-and-plunder robot to life using “Tom Tempo”. But getting the "Tom Tempo" is not that easy!

criticism
Vienna-online evaluated : “Between the cute bike shop, the Au- and the zoo, which have moved together on a hop with the children's bicycle, and Thomas' office, which can be reached by elevator in the garbage can, that easy-to-digest children's crime thriller, the ORF, will soon develop -Stuck viewers by the bike bar for two decades. More fun than scary, more craft than high-tech, more Tom than turbo. "
