Toma Adly Zaki

Toma Adly Zaki (born November 5, 1966 in al-Minya , Egypt ) is an Egyptian clergyman and Coptic Catholic bishop of the Giza eparchy .

Life

Toma Adly Zaki received on 20 April 2001, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On April 10, 2018 Pope appointed him Francis to the titular of cabasa and Apostolic Administrator of the Coptic Catholic Eparchy of Giza. The Coptic Catholic Patriarch of Alexandria , Ibrahim Isaac Sidrak , donated him episcopal ordination on May 25 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Assiut , Kyrillos Kamal William Samaan OFM , the Bishop of Sohag , Youssef Aboul-Kheir , the Bishop of Ismayliah , Makarios Tewfik , the Bishop of Minya , Kamal Fahim Awad Boutros Hanna , and the Bishop of Luxor , Emmanuel Bishay .

The Synod of Bishops of the Coptic Catholic Church elected him Bishop of Giza. Pope Francis confirmed this election on March 25, 2019.
