Titular Diocese of Cabasa

The diocese Cabasa ( lat. Dioecesis Cabasitana ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .

It goes back to an earlier bishopric in the ancient city of the same name in the Roman province of Aegyptus in Egypt . The bishops Theopemptos (before 431 - after 439) and Makarios (mentioned in 451) are known from the historical diocese.
