Tomasz Wójcik (born June 6, 1963 in Warsaw ) is a Polish graphic artist, set designer, theater director and doctor of science. He designs posters for plays, films, festivals and cultural events, as well as health and safety campaigns.

Tomasz Wójcik was born the son of the cameraman Professor Jerzy Wójcik and the film and theater actress Magda Teresa Wójcik. He studied physics at the Technical University of Warsaw and received his doctorate under Professor Jan Petykiewicz in 1996.

His posters have been featured in numerous exhibitions including the Wilanów International Poster Biennale, Lahti Poster Biennale, Mexico City International Poster Biennale and Trnava Poster Triennale. The poster for the Polish film The Complaint (Skarga) was recognized as the best poster at the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival in Strasbourg (1992). The posters are created exclusively as computer graphics, without manual intervention.

Tomasz Wójcik has been designing stage and theater costumes since 1986. He created around 50 projects, both for performances of classical works such as Antigone by Sophocles , Bhagavad Gita after Mahabharata , Richard III. by William Shakespeare , as well as contemporary texts such as The Trial of Franz Kafka , The Plague by Albert Camus , The Emperor by Ryszard Kapuściński .

In 1991 he made his debut as a theater director with the performance "Die Panne" based on Friedrich Dürrenmatt (Teatr Adekwatny, Warsaw). He directed the production “Odblask” (Der Widerschein, 1993, Teatr Adekwatny, Warsaw), which he himself conceived, and directed by Macbeth by William Shakespeare (2003, Teatr Na Woli, Warsaw).

Tomasz Wójcik is a member of the board of the Teatr Adekwatny Society and was the artistic director of its projects: Festival of Modern Art - Four Elements, cycles of concerts and performances “Easter Triptych”, cycles of screenings and meetings with filmmakers “Animagic”. He was the artistic director of the Warsaw artists' club “Lokal użytkowy”.

He is the author of several graphic projects in Poland and abroad, such as the visual identification of the international cooperation project between the art universities Inter-artes.

Wójcik deals with the graphic design of books and magazines, including “The Labyrinth of Light” (Labirynt światła) by Jerzy Wójcik (2006) and “The Dawn of a Hero” (Wyprawa bohatera) by Seweryn Kuśmierczyk (2014). He also designs CD covers, including: "Air" by Jerzy Malek (2011), "Komeda-Chopin-Komeda" by Lena Ledoff (2011), "As sung by Billie Holiday" by Ida Zalewska (2012),

Tomasz Wójcik also designed the exhibitions on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Warsaw School of Economics in Chicago and the “Reconstitution of the Memory of Poland” in the European Parliament in Brussels .

He worked with the television station “Kino Polska” and created the brand logo for the digitization project for the Polish film “Kino RP”. Wójcik also works at the Warsaw Copernicus Science Center and the Warsaw University of Technology in the design of didactic computer programs.
