Club career

Tomislav Puljić moved from Croatian club NK Lokomotiva Zagreb to FC Luzern in summer 2010 . The defender quickly established himself as a regular player and played 18 games for FC Luzern in the first half of the 2010/11 season. The defender, who had a strong header, scored three goals. On January 14, 2011 it was announced that Puljić's contract would be extended until 2014.

He returned to FC Luzern in January 2015 and signed a contract that was automatically extended for one year to the end of June 2016 after receiving the league at the end of the season. He hit the head straight away in the first game after his return on February 7, 2015 against BSC Young Boys shortly before the end of the much-acclaimed equalizer. In February 2017 it became known that Puljić would have to leave FC Luzern. In summer 2019 Puljić moved to FC Emmenbrücke.
