Toni Dettling (born June 5, 1943 in Schwyz , resident in Oberiberg ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ).

biography

Schwyz started his political career between 1976 and 1991, when he sat on the cantonal council of the canton of Schwyz and was the FDP parliamentary leader there from 1979 to 1983. In 1986/87, he was President of the Cantonal Council. On November 25, 1991, he was elected to the National Council in the canton of Schwyz and, after two legislative periods , made the leap to the Council of States . He had a seat there from the 1999 elections and was active in several commissions in both chambers. In the parliamentary elections in 2003 he did not run and therefore left the small chamber on November 30, 2003.

Dettling had several board memberships and was often chairman of the board. Since 1982 he has been a member of the central board of the homeowners association and was temporarily its president.

The trained lawyer (lic. Rer. Publ.) Is married and has two children. He lives in Schwyz .
