Toni from Bukovics
Antonia "Toni" Felicitas von Bukovics (born January 13, 1882 in Budapest , † November 2, 1970 in Vienna ) was an Austrian theater and film actress.
life and work
Von Bukovics was born in Budapest , Hungary as the daughter of an Austrian state official on duty there and initially had the first name Antonie. She married in 1909 and was called Bernecker-Bukovics from then on. The marriage ended in divorce in 1922. She kept staying privately with her brother in Waidhofen an der Ybbs . Professionally, she worked in Vienna , Karlsbad , Marienbad , Teplitz-Schönau , Prague , Zurich , Posen , Stuttgart , Berlin , Rome , The Hague , Amsterdam , Augsburg , Munich and other important theaters.
From August 16, 1944, she had her permanent habitual residence in Waidhofen an der Ybbs and moved to Vienna on November 2, 1950.
