Touliphourdon , in Latin Tulifurdum ( Greek  Τουλίφουρδον ), is a place name in the Geographia of Claudius Ptolemaios created around 150 AD as one of the places in the interior of Germania (πόλεις) with 32 ° 00 ′ longitude ( Ptolemaic longitudes ) and 54 ° 00 'latitude is indicated. According to Ptolemy, Touliphourdon lies between ammunition and Askalingion .

So far the place could not be located safely. An interdisciplinary research team led by Andreas Kleineberg, who re-examined the information provided by Ptolemy, proposed a transformation of the ancient coordinates in 2011, which would result in a localization of Touliphourdon near Hanover in Lower Saxony .
