East Bavaria Tourism Association
The Tourismusverband Ostbayern e. V. is a marketing association for Eastern Bavaria . The association, based in Regensburg, has a sales volume of around five million euros.

The association was founded on September 19, 1949 for the region of Lower Bavaria and Upper Palatinate in Regensburg . It is a registered association and currently has more than 400 members, for the most part the local authorities , i.e. districts and municipalities as well as tourism associations. There are also commercial businesses such as hotels and holiday complexes as supporting members. The main task of the association is to promote and maintain tourism in Lower Bavaria and the Upper Palatinate

The association is divided into four regions:
- Bavarian forest
- Upper Palatinate Forest
- Bavarian Jura : The districts of Kelheim , Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz and Amberg-Sulzbach , as well as the western part of the district of Regensburg, are part of the Bavarian Jura community .
- Bavarian Golf and Thermenland : It was not until 2008 that the "Lower Bavaria between Danube and Inn" and the "Bavarian Thermenland" with its spa baths Bad Abbach , Bad Birnbach , Bad Füssing , Bad Gögging and Bad Griesbach merged to form the Bavarian Golf and Thermenland .
