Trávník (German Glasert ) is a district of Cvikov ( Zwickau in Bohemia ) in Liberecký kraj , ( Czech Republic ). The village is located in the Lusatian Mountains and consists of 54 houses with 21 permanent residents.

Trávník is located on the road connecting Cvikov and Mařenice ( Gross Mergtal ). 1 km north is Naděje ( Hope ). The local mountain is the Trávnický vrch ( Glasertberg , 571 m) located immediately to the west .
history
The first written mention of the village comes from 1391. It is said to have been built in place of an even older glassworks, which explains the name. Glasert was originally a village of weavers and forest workers. After that, it was popular with those looking for relaxation as a summer retreat. In 1939 there were still 262 inhabitants in the village. After the predominantly German residents were driven out, the number of residents remained small. In 1991 the place had 19 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 40 houses in which 21 people lived. Today there are pensions and an inn here.
