The Trait is a river in France that runs in the Nièvre department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region . It rises in the Morvan massif, in the municipality of Aunay-en-Bazois , generally drains in a southerly direction and after 29 kilometers flows into the Aron as a left tributary at the municipal boundary of Limanton and Brinay .
