The Aron is a river in France that runs in the Nièvre department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region . It rises in the foothills of the Morvan Mountains, in the municipality of Saint-Révérien , where its water initially collects in the Étang d'Aron . The Aron reaches the Canal du Nivernais at Châtillon-en-Bazois . He accompanies him to Decize , where both flow into the Loire from the right . The river length is 104 kilometers.
