Travis Scott (born September 14, 1975 in Kanata , Ontario ) is a former Canadian ice hockey goalkeeper who was most recently under contract with HK Tractor Chelyabinsk in the Continental Hockey League .

Career

Travis Scott began his career in 1993 in the Ontario Hockey League , where he played for two years with the Windsor Spitfires and another year for the Oshawa Generals . Then the left-catching goalkeeper moved briefly to the American Hockey League before he was transferred to the Baton Rouge Kingfish , for which he was active for two years in the East Coast Hockey League . In the 1998/99 season he made his breakthrough when he led the Mississippi Sea Wolves with good performances in the play-offs and to win the Kelly Cup. He then moved back to the AHL, where he joined the Lowell Lock Monsters . In the 2000/01 season , the undrafted Scott played his only NHL game for the Los Angeles Kings . From 2001 to 2005 he played two years each for the Manchester Monarchs , the Kings farm team and the San Antonio Rampage in the AHL.

For the 2005/06 season Scott decided to move to Europe and played the following two years in the Russian Super League for HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk . With the Russian club he won the Spengler Cup in Davos in 2005 and the championship in the 2006/07 season . In the summer of 2007 he signed a one-year contract with the DEL Club Kölner Haie , which was however dissolved in December 2007 because Scott accepted a high-value offer from his former Russian club.

On 11 December 2008, he signed a contract with the Austrian champions EC KAC and was with the club on April 6 Austrian champion . After this success he was initially without a club before Scott was signed by the DEL Club Hannover Scorpions in November 2009. With them he became master again. He initially signed a contract until the end of the season, but extended it to 2011. Shortly after the start of the 2010/11 season , however, he dissolved the contract with the Scorpions again because he did not want to agree to the 15 percent salary cut, which club owner Günter Papenburg for financial Had proposed consolidation of the association. In December 2010, Scott signed a contract with HK Traktor Chelyabinsk from the Continental Hockey League .
