The Tredeberspitze (also: Tredeberspitz ; 3134 m above sea level ) is a mountain peak in the Umbal ridge of the Venediger group in the west of East Tyrol . It was first climbed on September 27, 1904 by Th. Schimmelbuch and J. Unterberger over the south ridge, which I. Hechenbleikner and K. Berger also used on September 27, 1904 for their descent from the High Cross .
location
The Tredeberspitze lies on a side ridge of the Umbal ridge, which branches off from the Daberspitze ( 3402 m above sea level ) to the southeast. To the northwest, the Nördliche Tredeberscharte separates the Tredeberspitze from the Daberspitze, to the south the Südliche Tredeberscharte borders the south ridge of the Tredeberspitze from the northwest ridge of the Hohen Kreuz ( 3159 m above sea level ). To the west of the Trederberspitze is the Daberkess, which almost reaches up to the ridge of the summit. To the north is the Welitzkess. The Tredeberspitze is located in the municipality of Prägraten am Großvenediger .
Promotion opportunities
The Trederberspitze can be reached in around 4 hours from the Neue Reichenberger Hütte. To do this, climb up the Rudolf-Tham-Weg to Daberlenke, then climb up on the path before the junction of the Karbach and the Leiterbach at an altitude of around 2300 meters, initially left, then right from the Karbach or Körbach to the Daberkees. To the left of the glacier break off, the ascent takes place via Steilschrofen on the glacier and then in a right curve to the southern Tredeberscharte, from which Tredeberspitze can be reached via the short block ridge ( UIAA I ).
The shortest way to the Tredeberspitze leads from the Clarahütte to the marked path to the Hohe Kreuz. Leave this path at an altitude of around 2500 meters and climb up to the right to the southeast flank of the Tredeberspitze. Over the rocky flank you can reach the summit with little climbing ( UIAA I or II ).
