Treffort-Cuisiat is a former French commune with last 2,287 inhabitants (2013) and today's commune Déléguée in the department of Ain in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belonged to the arrondissement of Bourg-en-Bresse and the canton of Saint-Étienne-du-Bois (until 2015: canton of Treffort-Cuisiat ).
With effect from January 1, 2016, the previous communities of Treffort-Cuisiat and Pressiat were merged to form a commune nouvelle called Val-Revermont .

Treffort-Cuisiat lies in the Revermont countryside . The Sevron River runs in the area.
history
In 1972 the two communities of Treffort and Cuisiat were merged. In the course of the merger in 2016, the former community of Cuisiat also received delegate status in the Commune nouvelle .
