Trehörningsjö ( South Sami Dreejhöönine ) is a place ( småort ) in the Swedish province of Västernorrlands län in the municipality of Örnsköldsvik .

The place is located between the two lakes Inre Lemesjön and Trehörningsjön about 60 kilometers north of the main town of the municipality, Örnsköldsvik . The secondary provincial road ( Länsväg ) Y 1068 runs through the village . Trehörningsjö has its own church. The station on the Stambanan genom övre Norrland is no longer used for passenger traffic.

The place is struggling with a decreasing population - until 2005 it was listed in the crime scene category.
