Trevor Erhardt (born November 27, 1962 in Calgary , Alberta ) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player .

Career

He is considered to be one of the public favorites in Frankfurt ice hockey. He played for both the Frankfurt Eintracht and the Frankfurt ESC . If the team showed no commitment, the fans usually called for Trevor Erhardt.

During his time at Eintracht Frankfurt, where he played from the 1983/84 season, he was significantly involved in promotion to the 1st Bundesliga in the 1985/86 season . In two Bundesliga seasons ( 1986/87 and 1987/88 ), including promotion / relegation rounds, he scored 123 times in a total of 87 games. Erhardt scored 66 goals and provided 57 assists for goals. In the 1988/89 season he stayed in Germany and played at EC Bad Nauheim before moving to the Austrian Bundesliga for EC Kapfenberg in the summer of 1989 .

After the financial withdrawal of Frankfurter Eintracht at the end of the 1990/91 season , Trevor Erhardt was immediately on the spot to help rebuild. In the first two years of the Frankfurt ESC, Trevor Erhardt stood on the Frankfurt ice again.

In the 1991/92 season , the Frankfurt ESC started in the fourth-class regional league with Trevor Erhardt. Including the promotion round to the league , Erhardt scored 86 goals in 45 games and gave 114 assists (200 points scorer).

In his last season in Frankfurt 1992/93 he scored 82 times in 56 league games including promotion to the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga and gave 76 assists (158 points). Thanks to his help, the Frankfurt ESC rose to the 2nd Bundesliga at the end of the season .

Trevor Erhardt was honored for his services to Frankfurt ice hockey, typical of this sport, in the form that his jersey with the number # 27 was the first ever to be hung under the roof of the ice rink, which means that no player will be number # 27 in the future Frankfurt will wear.

When the player Ken Quinney with the number # 27 appeared for the Frankfurt Lions in 1998 , this was corrected again after a short time. Quinney was given the number # 72 from then on. Trevor Erhardt himself was present at the ice rink when Ken Quinney changed jersey numbers. This was sealed with a handshake from the two Canadian players.
