In the first few years, the label struggled with financial bottlenecks. Rudzinski received financial support from his family in the early years. In order to be able to cover the costs, he also put the money from his tax return into the label and sold parts of his music collection. In contrast to other labels, he does without advertisements, but works with word of mouth .

In 2005 a fire destroyed his office, which was in his apartment. In 2008 subsidiary label Divebomb Records opened its doors. In 2016, Tribunal Records released their hundredth album; Divebomb his 75th.
