Tristan Marquardt (actually Alexander Rudolph ; born November 11, 1987 in Göttingen ) is a poet , literary mediator and German mediaevalist .

Life

Tristan Marquardt is a member of the Berlin poetry collective G13, which he founded together with others in 2009. In this context, he also writes community texts with other poets in parallel to his own writing. Some of these texts were published by the SuKuLTuR publishing house in October 2013 under the title that was intent . In addition, he is generally committed to a broader perception of poetry in the public. Since 2012 he has been organizing the reading series my three lyrical selvesin Munich, was co-initiator of the "Great Day of Young Munich Literature" and the "Independent Reading Series" initiative. Since 2017 he has been running the hochroth Munich publishing branch together with Tim Holland and Hannes Munzinger .

His own texts have not only been published in various magazines and anthologies , there are also translations into English, French, Dutch, Spanish and Slovak. His debut volume that doesn't pay for itself was published by Kookbooks , Berlin 2013.

In the context of a conference on the Kosmikerkreis , Marquardt named Stefan George for today's lyrical writing "a still important point of reference ... with a view to sound, rhythm, melody and 'sound'", which Simon Strauss told him in an article in the FAZ was interpreted outright as its own poetics.
