In the context of a conference on the Kosmikerkreis , Marquardt named Stefan George for today's lyrical writing "a still important point of reference ... with a view to sound, rhythm, melody and 'sound'", which Simon Strauss told him in an article in the FAZ was interpreted outright as its own poetics.
