The Tristolzer Berg is an elevation above Ellwangen in the Biberach district in Upper Swabia .

location

The mountain lies on the district of Rot an der Rot in the suburb of Tristolz . On a clear day you can see Zugspitze , Säntis , buses and to the north the Ulm Minster from this vantage point .

The south weather station recommends the mountain next to the Black Ridge and others as a vantage point in foehn weather . The mountain is surrounded by the headwaters of two rivers. To the southwest, below the mountain, the Füramooser Ried is the origin of the Rottum , which flows into the Danube . South below the mountain is the headwaters of the Ellbach , which flows into the Rot in Rot an der Rot with the Pfaffenrieder Bach .
