Trpanj is a small port town in Croatia with 721 inhabitants (2011 census). It consists of the cadastral municipalities Trpanj (598 inh.), Gornja Vrucica (46 in.), Donja Vrućica (33 in.) And Duba Peleska (44 in.). It is located on the Adriatic coast of Dalmatia , in the southernmost Dubrovnik-Neretva County on the Pelješac peninsula , about 80 km from Dubrovnik . Trpanj is located on the Neretvanski Canal opposite the port town of Ploče , to which there is a car ferry connection. It is surrounded by clean, natural rocky and sandy beaches and sparse pine forests.

The climate is Mediterranean, in summer it gets up to 45 ° C.
