Trutz Graf von Korff called Schmising-Kerssenbrock , mostly shortened to Graf Kerssenbrock , (born January 1, 1954 in Kiel ) is a German lawyer , notary and politician ( CDU ).

Life

Trutz Graf Kerssenbrock comes from the von Korff family . After graduating from high school in 1972, he studied law and modern history , which he completed in 1977 with the first state examination and in 1981 with the second state examination . He has been admitted to the bar since 1983 . In 1985 he received his doctorate as Dr. jur. Since 1991 he has also been a notary and specialist lawyer for administrative law . Kerssenbrock gave his doctorate back in 1988 because of alleged procedural deficiencies in the doctorate, but was later rehabilitated.

Kerssenbrock is married to Dagmar Countess Kerssenbrock that from 2017 to 2018 the Board of Directors of the NDR board. The couple have a son and two daughters, including the author Freya von Korff .

Kerssenbrock has been a member of the CDU since 1970. From 1980 to 1983 he was a member of the Stormarn District Council.

Kerssenbrock was initially a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament from 1983 to 1988 . Here he was a member of the investigative committee to investigate the Barschel affair in 1987/88 . Because of his intransigence in the committee of inquiry towards party friends, he was also criticized from within his own ranks. In the early state elections in 1988, Graf Kerssenbrock was not covered on the CDU state list. He ran as a direct candidate in the constituency of Stormarn, but was not elected.

From 2000 to 2005 he was again a member of the Schleswig-Holstein state parliament .
