Czech library

The Czech Library is a predominantly literary book series of Czech works for German-speaking readers. It is based on a funding initiative of the Robert Bosch Foundation and was published by Peter Demetz , Jiří Gruša , Peter Kosta , Eckhard Thiele and Hans Dieter Zimmermann . According to the Börsenblatt , 66 translators and bohemists worked on the publication of texts by 213 Czech authors. It has been published by the Deutsche Verlags-Anstalt (DVA) in Munich and Stuttgart since 1999 . The series comprises a total of 33 volumes.
