Tsege Worku

Tsege Worku (also Tsige Worku ; born January 19, 1982 ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon . She lives in Switzerland and mostly competes there.
She won the K42 of the Swiss Alpine Marathon in 2002 and 2003 , the Lausanne Marathon in 2004 and the Basel City Marathon in 2005 .
She also won the Course de Sierre in Zinal in 2003 and came third in the Jungfrau Marathon . In 2005 she finished second in the Zurich Marathon , won the Murtenlauf in 2006 and set her best time in 2007 in seventh place in the Frankfurt Marathon with 2:33:25.
Tsege Worku starts for TV Länggasse Bern . She has been married to a Swiss citizen since the beginning of 2007.
