The Turrach , also Turrachbach , is a river in Styria that drains the north side of the Turracher Höhe in the Gurktal Alps in Austria . It arises directly on the border with Carinthia from the confluence of the Hinterem Seebach and Geißeckbach northeast of the village of Turracherhöhe and flows into the Mur near Predlitz .

Mayfly larvae and stonefly larvae live in the rapidly flowing clear mountain stream.
