The Tutuksuk River is a right tributary of the Kobuk River in western Alaska .

Its source is on the southern flank of the Baird Mountains , a mountain range of the Brooks range , on the border of the Kobuk Valley National Park to the Noatak National Preserve . It flows on the upper reaches first in a westerly, then in a southerly direction and flows between Kaliguricheark and Salmon River into the Kobuk River, which flows over the Kotzebue Sound to the Chukchi Sea , a marginal sea of the Arctic Ocean .
