Tyler George (born October 6, 1982 in Duluth ) is a former American  curler and Olympic champion . Most recently, he played  third  on  John Shuster's team .

George began his international career at the 2001 World Junior Championship , where he won the bronze medal as a substitute for Andy Roza's team .

At his first  World Cup in 2010  , he played as a  lead  in Pete Fenson's team . The team came into the play-offs, but lost there and in the subsequent game for 3rd place against Scotland with Craig Wilson and finished fourth. At the 2015 World Cup , he was third in John Shuster's team and fifth. The  following year he  came in third place with the American team around Shuster. In the game for third place, the Americans defeated Japan with Skip  Yūsuke Morozumi . At the  2017 World Cup  , he returned to the game for third place, but lost to the Swiss team around  Peter de Cruz .

At the US championships he won gold medal in 2010, 2015 and 2017 and silver medal in 2009, 2011 and 2016.

George won the American Olympic Team Trials  with John Shuster's team in November 2017  and took part in the 2018 Winter Olympics  in  Pyeongchang for the USA with Shuster,  Matt Hamilton  ( Second ) and John Landsteiner ( Lead )   . After five wins and four defeats in the round robin , the Americans moved into the final round. In the semifinals they defeated Canada with Skip Kevin Koe . In the final they beat Sweden with Skip Niklas Edin 10: 7 and won the gold medal.

After the 2018 Olympic Games, he announced his retirement from top-level curling.
