Tyson Heung (born May 17, 1979 in Brampton ) is a Canadian-German short tracker .

The native Canadian received German citizenship in early 2005. At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin , he started over 500 and 1500 m as well as with the relay. Over 500 m he was eliminated in the preliminary run and was ranked 16th in the end, even over 1500 m he could not reach the final and came in 17th place in the end. With the season, consisting of him, Thomas Bauer , André Hartwig , Arian Nachbar and Sebastian Praus , he came in 7th place in the end. In the 2006/07 season he won the overall World Cup over 500 m and was the first German to achieve such a success in the short track.

At the European Short Track Championships 2010 in Dresden , he was eliminated from the 1000 m as third. With the relay, consisting of himself, Sebastian Praus , Paul Herrmann and Robert Seifert , he won the silver medal over 5000 m.

Heung starts for EV Dresden .
