The underground station Kagraner Platz on the Vienna underground line U1 is located in the 22nd district of Vienna, Donaustadt . It is located directly under Wagramer Strasse and extends between Donaufelder Strasse and Doningasse. The Kagraner Platz, which gives the station its name, was named in 1909 after the former village and the current district of Kagran .
The station was opened on September 2, 2006 with the commissioning of the section of the U1 between the Kagran and Leopoldau stations . From the central platform, which is about 13 meters deep, you can use escalators, elevators and fixed stairs to get to a reception building, which is located in the middle of a bus loop west of Wagramer Straße. Exits lead to Doningasse and to the intersection of Wagramer Straße / Donaufelder Straße.
You can change to tram line 26 in the direction of Hausfeldstraße or Strebersdorf , to bus lines 22A (to the underground stations Kagran and Aspernstraße ), 24A (to Breitenlee ) and 31A (towards Großjedlersdorf ). The Kagran parish church and the Donaustadt district museum are located near the station .
