The Lausitzer Handballclub Cottbus ( LHC Cottbus ) is the handball club from Cottbus . The club was founded on July 1, 2003 as a pure handball club, it emerged from the merger of the USV Cottbus and HC Cottbus clubs. There are currently 3 men's teams, 1 women's team and 10 youth teams in popular and competitive sports. In the 2018/19 season, the A-Juniors will start again in the top division of the federal government, in the north-east relay of the junior Bundesliga.
