Career

society

In his youth Agbo played for the Nigerian clubs FC Tabara, Juth FC and finally FC Enyimba.

In November 2013, at the age of seventeen, he moved to the Italian club Udinese Calcio .

In March 2014 he was loaned to the Spanish club Granada CF. Agbo played there primarily in the reserve team in the third-tier Segunda División B . In the 2015/16 season, however, there were also six appearances in the first team that plays in the second-rate Segunda División .

From summer 2016 Agbo was formally under contract with the English club Watford FC . But he was immediately on loan again to Granada CF , where he played in the first team this time.

After this loan expired after a year, he moved to the Belgian first division Standard Liège . After he was often absent from the squad in the 2018/19 season, a loan with an option to buy was made on January 31, 2019 to the Spanish club Rayo Vallecano , who played in the Spanish top division, the Primera División , this season.

After he wasn't in the squad at the beginning, Agbo was there in six games at the end of the season. However, Vallecano did not exercise the purchase option.

In the new 2019/20 season, Agbo was not in Standard's squad in the first six games. Shortly before the end of the transfer window, a loan for the rest of the season with a subsequent purchase option was agreed with the Portuguese club Sporting Braga . At that time Braga belonged to the Primeira Liga , the highest Portuguese league.

National team

In 2013 Agbo played five international matches for the Nigerian U20 national team at the U20 Africa Championship and the U20 World Championship, as well as a friendly match.

On June 1, 2017, he played a friendly international match for the senior national team against Togo. In the qualification for the Africa Cup 2017 and other friendly matches he was in the squad, but was not used; most recently on May 28, 2018. Since then, he has not been part of the squad at any international match.
