Uckermärkischer cycle route

The Uckermärkische biking trail is through the districts Uckermark , Mecklenburg Lake District and Vorpommern-Greifswald running Radfernweg . The 260 km long circular route was opened on April 29, 2006. The 85 km long Uckermark section from Stolpe via Angermünde , Joachimsthal and Templin to Lychen was completely rebuilt with a network of cycle roads until autumn 2005. The cycle path begins in Stolpe and leads through Schwedt / Oder , Prenzlau , Feldberg , Lychen, Templin and Angermünde. Particularly worth seeing is the drive through the Lower Oder Valley National Park , the town of Gramzow with the Brandenburg Museum for Small and Private Railways, the bypassing of the Unteruckersee , the town of Prenzlau with its many historical sights, the town of Boitzenburg with Boitzenburg Castle , the Feldberg lake landscape , the town of Lychen (town between the seven lakes), the town of Templin with its historic town center, the thermal baths and the Templin – Fürstenberg trolley line , the NABU information center Blumberger Mühle (near Angermünde) and the old town center in Angermünde.
