geography

course

The Ueffelner Aue begins in the Bramsch district of Üffeln between the Gehn and Ankumer Höhe ranges . It flows first in an easterly direction into the lowlands of the Hase. The Borgbeeke and Schnatbach brooks in Gehn are recorded on the right. To the north of the Bramsch district of Hesepe , the river forms the boundary between the municipality of Alfhausen and the city of Bramsche in sections . The A-Balkum trench and the waterworks trench are taken from the left side. From the right the Uhlenbrockgraben and the Vogelpohlsgraben flow into the floodplain. After crossing under the federal highway 68 , the Ueffelner Aue runs parallel (east) to the Osnabrück-Oldenburg railway line . The Alfsee reservoir is on the other side of the railway line . The Thiener Mühlenbach and Thiener Dorfgraben streams flow into this section from the left . After a few kilometers, the railway line is crossed under and the Ueffelner Aue follows the northeastern dike foot of the Alfsee and later the reserve basin. Coming from the left, the Alfhausener Dorfgraben or Buschbach joins here . To the north of the reserve basin, the Ueffelner Aue flows into the drain of the Alfsee.
