The Ulachan-Botuobuja ( Russian Улахан-Ботуобуя , also Большая Ботуобуя (Bolschaja Botuobuja, "Big Botuobuja")) is a right tributary of the Vilyui in the west of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in Siberia ( Russia ).
The Ulachan-Botuobuja rises about 100 km south of the Wiljui reservoir . From there it flows through the Wiljuiplateau first in an easterly, then in a northeastern direction. Eventually it turns north and reaches the Wiljui a few kilometers below the Wiljui reservoir. The Ulachan Botuobuja has a length of 459 km. It drains the area south and south-east of the Vilyui reservoir. The catchment area covers 17,500 km². An average annual runoff of 62 m³ / s was measured 30 km above the mouth.
