Ulrich Albinus
Ulrich Albinus (born March 15, 1909 in Königsberg i. Pr. , † December 31, 1988 in Schönwald in the Black Forest ) was a German architect and art historian.
Life
Albinus attended the Löbenichtsche Realgymnasium and studied at the Technical University of Dresden . As a graduate engineer , he entered the administrative service and was Ministerialrat in the Federal Ministry of Defense.
In the Second World War he led a technical company. On March 6, 1945, he was taken prisoner by the Soviets near Graudenz . Instead of the forfeited death penalty, he was sentenced to 25 years of forced labor in gulags . When Adenauer's ten thousand returned home on October 9, 1955, he was sent to the Friedland camp . Back in his profession, he became chairman of the Association of Technical Officials and (until 1982) chairman of the Löbenichtsches Realgymnasium association . From 1974 to 1978 he was chairman of the city community of Königsberg and long-time curator of the Museum City of Königsberg in Duisburg . Until January 28, 1982 he was president of the Prussia antiquity society .
