Ulrich Dumrath

Friedrich Julius Hermann Ulrich Dumrath (born July 3, 1851 in Buslar ; † December 6, 1921 in Schölisch ) was a German administrative officer, manor owner and member of parliament.

Life

Ulrich Dumrath was born as the son of the manor owner and member of the Prussian House of Representatives Hermann Dumrath and Sophie née Thielecke. He studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1871 he became a member of the Corps Guestphalia Heidelberg . After completing his studies and doctorate as Dr. jur. he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1895 to 1917 he was district administrator for the Stade district .

Dumrath was the owner of the Schölisch manor near Stade. From 1908 to 1918 he sat for constituency 2 in the Stade administrative district (Stade-Bremervörde) in the Prussian House of Representatives . From 1918 to 1919 he was a member of the Hanover Provincial Parliament .

The Prussian district administrator and politician Hermann Karl Dumrath was his brother.
