Ulrich Loopy (* 27. October 1968 in Rheinfelden ) is a German lawyer and politician of the CDU . From 2006 to 2016 he was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg .

education and profession

After graduating from the Hans-Thoma-Gymnasium in Lörrach in 1988, Ulrich Lusche was a regular soldier in the Navy from 1988 to 1990 , where he was trained as a reserve officer. Then studied at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg Law . Between 1995 and 1998 he was a trainee lawyer at the regional court in Waldshut-Tiengen . Since 1998 he has been working as a lawyer in Lörrach at the law firm Bender, Harrer and Krevet. His focus is on commercial tenancy and lease law and administrative law, in particular environmental law.

Political activity

Ulrich Lusche was deputy chairman from May 2003 to October 2009 and from October 2009 to February 2012 chairman of the CDU district association Lörrach. In the local elections in 2004 he was elected to the municipal council of the city of Lörrach. He was re-elected in 2009 and 2014 .

Since the state elections in 2006 , he has represented the constituency of Lörrach as a directly elected member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg. He is a member of the Environment and Europe Committees in the State Parliament and the Commission for Environment and Agriculture in the Upper Rhine Council. In the election on March 27, 2011 , he successfully defended his state parliament mandate.

In April 2014 Lusche announced his candidacy for the election of Lord Mayor of the city of Lörrach , but only came third in the first ballot on July 6, with 25.4% of the votes.

Ulrich Lusche was again the CDU candidate for the constituency of Lörrach for the state elections in 2016 . In the election itself, however, he lost the direct mandate to Josha Frey from the GREEN; as his percentage result in the second count was below that of most of the other CDU constituency candidates in Baden-Württemberg, he missed re-entry into the state parliament.

Family and private

Ulrich Lusche is Protestant. He has been married to Ute Lusche born in 1998. Ziegler. Their son Christoph was born in 2003 and their son Thomas Kristian in 2007.
