Ulrich Scharfenorth
Ulrich Scharfenorth (born October 1, 1941 in Lehnitz , Brandenburg ) is a German writer .
Life
Ulrich Scharfenorth worked as an engineer for the German steel industry for 40 years . Also active in literature . From 1990 journalist and from 1997 to 2004 editor-in-chief of a specialist magazine in Düsseldorf . Freelance journalist and writer since 2004 . He writes short stories , essays and non-fiction books . Co-founder and moderator of the Ratinger KULTURkneipe. Lives with the writer Barbara Ming in Ratingen .
At the age of 21 the author published his first texts in literary and university magazines in the GDR (“Forum” and “Hochschulstadt”). These were later suspended because of unpopular statements. Further publications followed after moving from Bergfelde / State of Brandenburg to Ratingen . From 1991 member of the literature group ERA e. V.
Numerous publications, among others in "JEDERART", "TASTEN", "Edition L / Lyrik für die Westentasche", "MAULTROMMEL", in the "Bergische Taschenliteratur" - in anthologies ("Jahrbuch Lyrik 2000", "Pink-10" and others), in the "Edition Landpresse" ("Jahrhundertwende" / 1996, "Zeit.Wort" / 2003 and others) and on the internet ("Lyrik ART", "Lyrikwelt", "Poems against the war" and others). Essays in “stahlmarkt”, “Das Blättchen” etc.
Readings throughout Germany: Berlin , Cottbus , Erfurt , Chemnitz , Kloster / Hiddensee , Zwickau , Neuruppin , Bernau , Düsseldorf , Wuppertal , Duisburg , Ratingen etc.
Also on the road as a blogger since 2009.
